Service charges/staff contribution in restaurants

Hi All. Recently I have noticed, restaurants in Bangalore as well as Delhi have started charging us with mandatory “service charges/staff contribution”. Even though the GoI says that restaurants can’t force customers to pay service charges, but they do. Especially when you are paying through apps like Eazydiner/Dineout/District. How can we tackle this menace? Is there any forum where one can lodge a complaint or grievance against this?
