SMy friend 20F found an account with her dp and some other username. It had some obscene pornographic pictures. When she DMed him (it’s obviously a man) he initially impersonated one of her school friend by taking his name. But she eventually was able yo figure out it wasn’t him (she is Gujarati and that person was speaking broken hindi, so not her school friend). When she had put up a story and told him that she’ll report him to Cyber Crime, he immediately deleted all the posts, removed the DP and stared begging not to involve police chat. Ha yes he used Gaali at the start. After that he permanently deleted his account. Is it possible to somehow track him down? He is one her follower as her account is private. Will reporting to cyber crime help? How good are police regarding these matters? Her exams are approaching and she is mentally disturbed by this. How can I proceed legally?
