How difficult is it to retrieve a very old court order (1980s) without knowing the order number or date of judgement.

The only info I have is the names involved in the case and also a rough idea about which year the case verdict came.

If it’s anything below high court, it’s gonna be a pain in the ass to search, and I believe there are rules to destroy documents of court cases that are atrociously old and have reached finality
