May 6, 2025 at 5:07 pmIβm seeking legal advice regarding an ongoing issue with KTM India.I had booked a KTM motorcycle earlier this year and paid a booking amount of βΉ2,000. Due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the booking and requested a refund. Iβve been following up since 6th March 2025, with multiple calls and emails from there on.
Hereβs what has happened so far:
Every time I call their customer care, Iβm told someone from the dealership will contact me within 24β48 hours. No one has ever called.
On one of the calls, a customer care supervisor assured me he would “personally look into it”. After that, he vanished and there has been no follow-up.
It has now been nearly two months, and I still haven’t received the refund.
This is not just poor customer service β this feels like deliberate negligence and possible fraud.
Iβve documented all communication, including call logs and reference numbers.
My questions:
1. What are my legal options to compel KTM India to process my refund?
2. Can I file a complaint with the Consumer Forum or District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission? If yes, what is the process?
Iβd appreciate any help or guidance from those with experience in consumer law. This has gone on long enough, and Iβm ready to take formal legal action if needed
