AI am trying to change the DOB in my mother’s Aadhar card. The current DOB in her Aadhar card is different from what is present in her school certificates. Initially the local update center were asking for DOB certificate, so after a lot of hassle we were able to obtain a DOB certificate after almost 6 months. Now they’re like the DOB certificate should have her present surname (i.e., after marriage) and not her maiden surname. I have totally lost it here, how could DOB certificate have her changed name. Upon asking this they’re like you need to get it changed and all that bullshit.
And main thing is that we want get her a passport and somehow Aadhar seems to be a crucial document, however I see there are other documents accepted as well but it’s a very long shot.
Has anyone been able to update the date of birth on their Aadhaar card in a similar situation? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. -
