April 12, 2025 at 3:37 amHey everyone,
I was recently terminated from my job under a โzero tolerance policy.โ I understand the companyโs right to enforce its policies, but they are now refusing to pay me my final salary for the days I did work before termination. Is this even legal? I wasnโt under any contract that said they could withhold pay, and I didnโt do anything that caused financial harm or damage to the company. They simply cited a policy violation and said Iโm not entitled to any salary.
Has anyone faced something similar? What should I do next โ should I go to labor board, file a complaint, or take legal action? Iโd appreciate any advice or steps I can take.
Thanks in advance.

April 12, 2025 at 3:47 amthey cannot create any policies which contradicts the labour act and if you haven’t cause any loss, damages or any amount that is yet to be paid, they cannot withhold any money. -

April 12, 2025 at 1:21 pmWhat is the size of the company ? Most big firms would have their bases covered legally before they do something like this. For what reason were you terminated ? Were you actually working or suspended and being investigated for the period you were not paid ?
