April 11, 2025 at 5:35 amHi,I need advice on whether I have a case for a consumer court complaint against Samsung. I bought a used Samsung Galaxy S23, now out of warranty, running One UI 7 Beta 2. A green line appeared on the screen recently, with no physical damage to the phone. I suspect itโs a software or hardware defect, possibly linked to the beta update or a manufacturing issue, as Iโve seen similar complaints online. Samsungโs service center denied a free screen replacement, saying itโs out of warranty, and quoted a high repair cost.
Iwant to know:
Can I file a consumer court case claiming this is a manufacturing or software defect, even though the phone is used and out of warranty?
What evidence would I need to make a strong case?
Has anyone dealt with a similar issue and pursued legal action?
Any advice from lawyers or those familiar with consumer law would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
