April 10, 2025 at 10:15 amPlease don’t judgeI went to a suspicious website and found a few numbers for sex video call services. I made a mistake of chatting with them on my WA number and sent money through UPI. This is last year’s incident. Now they showed me a fake video that time even after taking money.
Now today I got a fake call from a person claiming to be police and told me that i will arrested soon because of this. I told that this is fake and he started abusing me. I cut off the call and blocked the number.
Now can something happen to me legally because of this because they do have my number and proofs that I sent them money.

April 10, 2025 at 10:57 amHaving consensual sexual conversation between adults including video call is generally not considered a crime. However, important to ensure that both parties are consenting adults and no explicit content is shared or recorded without consent.
Prostitution is not a crime as per Immoral Traffic act 1956.
If she was an adult there was no coercion from your end. You need not worry.
They will play on your emotions.
Be firm and confident. And smart from next time.

April 11, 2025 at 3:59 pmDude stop worrying. Itβs more of fear of shame than any real legal implications. Lesson learnt. Never ever pay online for sex.
