April 9, 2025 at 11:54 amI had requested for a dob update. My aadhar has 2007 on it, I want to correct it to 2005. I submitted my 10th passs certificate, but it got rejected saying incorrect selection of proof of date of birth. I am not 18 according to my aadhar since it has 2007 on it. I will be 18 according to my aadhar dob in about 3 weeks, and for people under the age of 18, only birth certificate is accepted. So is it exactly why my update request was rejected? My pass certificate had 2005 on it. I am very confused. So if I again request for the update using the pass certificate after I turn 18 according to aadhar dob, will it get processed? -

April 9, 2025 at 5:18 pmTrust me, they would write it as a valid document but would not accept the mark sheet. Thatβs how this babu system works. You will have to provide birth certificate ultimately. Been there done that.

April 10, 2025 at 2:27 amIf you have a birth certificate with correct date use that. Mark sheets cannot be used as proof to correct dob in aadhar with current rules. -
