May 5, 2025 at 3:13 pmFew too many PGs opened up near our street recently and the movement of cars, autos and every vehicle has become severely restricted. The PG residents park their two wheelers on either sides of the street and there is no place left for an auto to pass through much less our cars. Most times, we can’t even open our front doors. What we have tried:
1) We have complained to the City Corporation authority and Traffic police. No help. They ask us to note down the vehicle numbers. But, nothing happens after that.
2) We have requested the PG owners and residents. They say that the vehicles are not theirs. Nothing changes until a water tanker for one of the PG has to pass through.
3) We have asked the local MLA to intervene. No help there as well. How this has affected us:
1) We can’t move.
2) This is a retirement community. Most residents here are over 60. They have to book an auto and walk two streets over to go any where.
3) Few weeks back one of the uncles suffered a heart attack. We had to literally carry him to the next street over because the ambulance could not reach us and none of us could take our car out. What else can we do ? We have tried all the options we could think of.

May 6, 2025 at 2:51 amCheck if the PGs are functioning legally. Start complaining about illegal PGs and file RTI seeking action taken on the PGs.Watch the PG owners running to get things sorted.

May 6, 2025 at 5:24 amLawyer here. File a suit for injunction against your Local Municipality Division and rope in all the PG/flat owners as co-defendants. But thats the last resort, you could approach police and or/file a complaint describing your grievances-

May 6, 2025 at 1:58 pmAs someone else suggested here, can we call a towing company to move the bikes? Or surrender them to police for impounding?
