April 7, 2025 at 9:12 pmYou must be thinking this post is about women who suffer in marriages in India.
No—women today are more powerful than ever in the history of mandkind.
This post is about the men who suffer. Silently. Brutally. And often, fatally. In India today, there’s a growing crisis no one wants to talk about.
Men being falsely accused by their wives under laws meant to protect the ones in real need.
Section 498A IPC (now Section 85 of the BNS) was created to shield women from abuse. But over the years, it has become a tool for marital extortion, used by some to demand money, property, or control—and when refused, to legally terrorize an entire family. The result?
Innocent husbands undergoing intimidating investigation
Elderly parents dragged into court
Sisters & brothers harassed and shamed
Reputations destroyed
Careers lost
And in some cases… lives lost
Atul Subhash. Sachin Kumar. Rohit Vashisht.
Men who couldn’t bear the trauma and chose death over endless suffering.Ask yourself:
Do you know someone who has gone through this or going through this?
Do you believe this issue exists but is never talked about?
How do we fix a system that punishes based on assumptions—not evidence?
This post isn’t anti-woman. It’s pro-justice.
We support true victims, no matter their gender. But justice should never be one-sided.If we truly believe in equality, we must also fight for those men who are wrongfully accused and silently destroyed by a broken system.
What’s your take?
Have you seen this happen to someone close?
Do you have suggestions on how we can bring balance back to the system?
Do you think men’s voices are being ignored in the name of gender protection?
Let’s open this conversation. Let’s speak for those who can’t.
