DI have open a cafe on my grandpas land and there was no paperwork involved. Been there since 15-16 years. Been running it greatly and successfully. It’s become a hotspot.
Now after his demise 2-3 of his kids other than my parents have become united and asking for their share of land and threatening to go to court and all etc. What are my chances of being able to keep all land myself?? -

DBeen making a living out of it. No one ever came when the piece of land was dogshit af. Only noticed when i made all the town notice it myself.

QNo offence OP but i am sure you would know that this day would come considering your uncles are alive. Legally speaking they have their rights too

DConsider me as evil, greedy mf. In here for suggestions as to whether there is any law that could help me. If not then whatever happens, happens. I’ll try to put it as long as it takes for the court to make final decision.

MSince the land belonged to your grandfather and there’s no will or paperwork giving it to you, it legally belongs to all his children (your parents and their siblings). So, the other heirs do have a legal right to claim their share. Even though you’ve been running the cafe for 15–16 years, unless you can prove the land was gifted or sold to you, the law likely won’t let you keep all of it just based on use. Your best chance is to try to settle the matter within the family, offer to buy out their share or give compensation or try to legally claim the part your cafe sits on, especially if you’ve improved it and they never objected.
