Bike digitally impounded

My dad has a bike which was given an E challan. He ignored and didn’t pay on time. Now it is digitally impunded.

He gave this bike to me. How am I supposed to get it back to normal (no more impound/challan). CAN I even do anything about it?

The e challan happened in Goalpara Assam on April 2024. But I live in Guwahati Assam (basically 3 hours away).

What is my recourse.

Also bonus question, will I be in trouble if I am caught driving this bike. I have no charges no nothing. Totally clean.

Will I lose my license if I’m caught riding this bike? I have a License and RC but no Pollution certificate for this bike.

Two people riding the bike without helmets and licenses. Neither were me.

They were caught for riding without helmets and had zero papers basically

You can clear the pending dues from your state portal or from Vahaan.com and just ignore if they have not got your original driving license or any other details and if you haven’t got any notice or court order then simply ignore

So I can ride it without worrying about any penalties hitting me right? Cause I kind of need it to get to college.

Dad said he tried to pay the challan online but could not because it was digitally impounded.

My dad. He’s the one who got called/notified by the officials. Now he’s just told me to deal with it if possible
