Will missing surname in parent’s name on degree cause issues in APSC?

I recently noticed a minor discrepancy in my academic documents — in my final marksheet, passing certificate, and degree certificate, my mother’s surname has been left out. Only her first name is mentioned. However, in all my previous semester marksheets, her full name (with surname) is correctly printed. The university says it can only be corrected within a 6 months window, well now it has been over a year or two.

This only came to my attention now while preparing documents for APSC applications. I’ve reached out to the university for correction, but I’m worried if this could cause issues during document verification.

**Has anyone dealt with something like this before?** Will this discrepancy create problems with APSC or other exams? Any advice or experience would be really helpful.
