Hi people,
my mother took a policy by mistake and we informed the maxlife team that we want to cancel it within 1 month of free look period only via email. they gave us some ticket number but no email confirmation. meanwhile, after 3 days, i sent reminder and called on service desk, they asked me to visit nearest branch. i visited there, the staff there talked to my policy manager and told me that your manager is coming to visit you at home and he will take canceled cheque and he will initiate cancellation, no need to visit branch,
after some time, the manger came for visit and tried to convince me to take the policy, when i said no finally, he told me that you have to visit branch only.
so they are intentionally trying to harrass just because we dont want to continue.
what’s your suggestion? should we visit branch ASAP tomorrow, as we are busy for next few days? or those a**holes cant charge any fine ( because I informed them via email earlier only)?
