March 29, 2025 at 5:27 amAs the title says, my employment contract mentions a notice period, however, usually when someone resigns at our firm, they just let them go without any notice period. Is there any way to strong-arm the employer into either allowing me to serve the notice period or receive salary in lieu of the waived off notice period?

March 29, 2025 at 10:55 amIf you have a valid contract which says so, you can seek a specific relief from the court having jurisdiction over the subject matter. It wont be a worthwhile effort and will most likely take more time than 30 days which is usually the length of a notice period in most contracts.
