May 4, 2025 at 12:21 pmI’m a college student currently unemployed and have no personal income. A while ago, a friend of mine withdrew Rs. 7500 of his Stake winnings into my bank account because he had issues withdrawing into his own. After that, he moved the money to his Slice wallet. I didnโt think much of it at the time since it was a one-time thing and not my money.Recently, I shared a photo of my Aadhaar card with him , and he is now used that to verify a different Stake account that he operates himself.
He convinced that It won’t involve any trouble , since every one in my college is using multiple stake ids so I gave him my adhaar …
But rn Iโm getting really anxious now about the following:1. Will that earlier Rs. 7500 transaction into my bank account cause any trouble during future ITR filings or with the Income Tax Department, even though it wasnโt my money?
2. Since my Aadhaar is now linked to his new Stake account, can this create legal or financial trouble for me, especially if he wins large amounts or if the platform is ever flagged?
What should I do…

Provided I won’t withdraw that money in my bank account.

May 4, 2025 at 12:41 pmNext time you get money in your account, keep it and say that its your money. Refuse to give it back to him and he will stop using your identity for whatever he is doing. -

May 4, 2025 at 1:30 pmThese winnings are reported directly to the income tax department, if he used your pan, you’re now liable to pay 30% tax.-

May 4, 2025 at 3:24 pmNo I’ll not share my pan, nor do I allow those winnings to be withdrawn in my bank now on . Will it be safe then?
What he has right now is my adhaar linked to his stake account.-

May 4, 2025 at 5:06 pmI would say email stake and claim ownership of that account or report that account for impersonating you.Of course before this persuade your friend to remove your aadhar, but if he doesn’t take the above steps.
