Lawyer took back the case without notifying.

  My relative’s lawyer took back the case without notifying him. The case is related to some fight over his transfer to other place (Govt employee). The guy has taken the case back, what can he do about the situation now?
  Lawyer is not picking up the calls now.

  Although the language is sketchy, but if lawyer was supposed to take the consent and he/she didn’t, ask him politely to correct his mistakes or you will complain to bar.
  
  Or complain to the judge, or find a better lawyer and start fresh. For lawyers to making such decisions with consent is unethical and violation of their code.

      Leave a proper respectful message or mail if any, try calling from another phone or move for the next method.

  Visit the court or join through VC and narrate the same before the Judge who has passed an order. However, you can hire a new lawyer and file an IA.

    Will he entertain us? Like does he need to take any appointment?? Also, wanted to know what legal action can be done against the lawyer. Many other people told me that nothing can be done now coz he was given power of attorney!!

  Did the order say ” Dismissed as withdrawn”. Mostly the judges will give the option to withdraw before they dismiss the case. If it’s not that then the above reply is relevant for you.
