May 4, 2025 at 9:46 amI wanted to transport my cat from Bangalore to Udupi and used PetDel for the services. However, for the past two days they have been postponing saying that the vehicle got into a problem etc etc and that they will deliver tomorrow.I called the manager now and he said it will get delivered in 30 mins (this is what he said 1 hour ago too). What are my options here? I would like to file a complaint asap if my cat is not delivered in the next 30 mins.
The delivery guy is also not picking the call and rarely the petdel folks do too. The delivery guy did share a video of my cat showing heβs fine last night though.
I am getting a bit skeptical and would like to know my options here. Should i file a police complaint? Is the action prompt in these cases usually? Please help.

May 4, 2025 at 9:56 amyou can file a Police complaint… but they will take your complaint it is questionable…Other option is to file a suit in Consumer Forum… you do not need Advocate in these Courts normally.
You can appear for your case personally and give detail that you had faced metal harassment, agony and so on; or they hadn’t taken proper care of your pet… upto you.

May 4, 2025 at 10:08 amThis is a common scam by packers and movers. They keep your belongings hostage until you pay more for their services than you originally agreed to.File an FIR in the police station for the same. And you can consult a lawyer to take legal action.
