March 24, 2025 at 5:55 amI would like to share a very frustrating experience with Aqua Guard especially how proactive they were in getting to renew the AMC and then failing to follow through on their service.I placed a service request through their app for March 20th and till date they have not responded to the request. I ended up paying close to INR.3,000 for the AMC and feel scammed. They seem to be least bothered when trying to contact them. Their local franchise in Trivandrum Kerala where I reside is not existing anymore. This I found out after paying the AMC.The call canters are automated, and I am not able to speak to a human. What are my options to hold them accountable. More than the amount I paid for AMC I donโt want such entities to exist in the country to fleece customers. Is Eureka Forbes a scam. Has anyone experienced a similar experience. Seeking positive suggestions. TIA -

March 24, 2025 at 6:02 amItโs a fake company. The AMC charge per year is almost 25% of product. After sales service is pathetic at best. -

March 24, 2025 at 6:06 amIt used to be a super company, post-COVID, they must have appointed some COVID-hospitalized bozo as their head because the company has taken an abject U turn. Their atrociously priced AMC is just a ruse to change filters whether its needed or not. Not to mention, some of their technicians will tamper with seals with the external filter so that the machine throws an error and they can charge for something. Always keep an eye on them when they come. This genuinely happened to us.-

March 24, 2025 at 6:22 ami had an issue last year where i paid amc to a guy over gpay and then agency closed. AMC was not updated which I found out only when I needed the service and engineer started telling me rates. It took few months of calls, mails, twitter, nch to get them to accept their fault. Luckily i had a gpay proof which saved me.OP raise NCH complaint and mail them daily to their escalation email ids.

March 24, 2025 at 7:04 amThere are a lot of frauds being committed in the name of amc. We had an agent sign us up for amc after which eureka Forbes didnโt honor their commitment.Their customer service is a joke and now the company has learnt a way to have the machine stop after dispersing a set amount of water and unless you change the filter no water is dispersed.
This Netflix kinda subscription model is a pain for bloody drinking water

March 24, 2025 at 7:04 amAll water purifier firms are in the scam category. You buy the product and within 3 months you discover that almost nothing is covered by warranty. On top of that there are a bunch of freelance service companies that try to scam you into taking service from them. -

March 24, 2025 at 7:35 amthe worst, even I had the same experience, the service man tried to sell me Amc I said I’ll do it online later after which that mf said if you do that I can’t give you the filter and he didn’t for like a month I had to call their line daily and abuse them finally he showed up and told me it’s all my fault, they probably get commision out of it, the worst experience ever with this company -

March 24, 2025 at 8:10 amTheir modus operandi
– the technician who visits purposefully damages the electronics (by shorting) during the first visit and say the part is covered under AMC free replacement
– they say stock out of the particular component and ask us to wait for a week
– after one week they call and say part is not covered under AMC the customer needs to pay for the replacement only visiting charges are covered under AMC
– asks you to pay for the intentionally damaged board even though one has AMC
– The sad part is those service providers are a third party vendor Eureka Forbes raises their hands when the issue is escalatedStay away from the Eureka Forbes
If one already has the product make sure to record the video of the service done by technician during the visit -

March 24, 2025 at 9:27 amNot amc but the sales guy promised false vouchers of ~3k while making the sale for a water softener. He mentioned the same can be used for purchase of salts. He deducted this while making an offer (so a 55k product was offerred as 52k saying 3k voucher will come later)Even after at least 10+ followups over next 2-3 months the said vouchers were never shared.
Not major but really felt like a scam and false promise – no credibility
The guy had audacity to come back to sell his vaccum cleaner to me. Gave him a royal fu then

March 24, 2025 at 1:00 pmThe whole water filter marketing industry is a scam. Just buy the local assembled ones. There is no high fi technology in any water filtration system. All the parts inside are similar and interchangeable.-

March 24, 2025 at 4:57 pmMy father owns a water manufacturing company and whatever you said is true.
They just change stickers on the R.O parts, essentially all the water purifiers are the same.-

March 25, 2025 at 6:39 pm+91ย 70120ย 40759 This is a number for Eureka Forbes Kochi. Give it a try. When I had an issue with my vacuum cleaner, I had first called their official customer care number and the different agents I spoke to kept giving me wrong info (I donโt blame them though, the script/info theyโve been given is wrong). I had better luck calling the Kochi number directly.
