March 23, 2025 at 9:11 pmHereβs a short summary:
I have Acer Nitro laptop for repair to a local shop with no GST… They mishandled the repair by replacing the original 144Hz display with a faulty 60Hz display and later damaging the motherboard. Despite promises to fix it or give me the new motherboard amount(35-40k), they returned the laptop in a worse condition and paid only βΉ20,000 when asked for remaining told me to go to police if I want but they won’t give a penny more , much less than the actual repair cost AFTER 3 MONTHS!!!!! They tried fixing it for 3 months!!!!!!I HAVE SEND A LEGAL NOTICE BUT THEY DONT SEEM TO CARE
I have video of them writing in a blank paper stating that they have broken the motherboard
I have call logs
I have video proof of shopCan anyone tell me if I should press and go to consumer court since the money remaining is less than 30k
If possible and if anyone would like to take up this case pls lemme know….

March 23, 2025 at 9:14 pmADVOCATE HERE. Your case seems to be fit for service deficiency in consumer complaint, however, better advisable would be to pursue a parallel case of civil suit for damages on account of business losses. You can lodge a complaint with local business association of the shop as well. My best wishes.
