Query regarding registry of joint ownership property

Hello
My parents are separated (no official divorce) since last 10years because dad was very abusive and did not support us financially.

My mother and father(he is the prime holder) purchased this property and mother has paid more than half the amount towards this after dad stopped paying.

We will be getting the possession of this property soon but the main issue is my mother doesn’t want the registry to be under his name since he will in future use this to manipulate us and also because it is my mothers hard earned money.
She wants the registry to take place under my name.

I just wanted to know if this would be possible since my mother has paid the majority. We have decided that whatever rental income comes from the house can be kept by our father or he gets his share of payment towards the house.

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
