March 23, 2025 at 9:09 amHey folks,I really need help with something, there is an old court order (1982) which i want to retrieve. I checked online on a portal which gives you the court orders, but the documents are digital only after 2011. How will i get the court orders that are that old? Will it cost me a lot of money, also will i require bribing anyone there?

March 23, 2025 at 9:26 amWhat you need the most right now is the month and year when the case was decided and name of the judge who decided the case, because cases once disposed are kept either month wise or judge wise so, knowing both of them is must to find the case record when you don’t know the details. You would have to get a lawyer and would have to spend some cash for the record keeper to check the record and give you the date of judgment/order, judge’s name and rank and case number. Once you have these details you can apply for certified copy.
If it is just an order in the case and not the final order/judgment then it would be a cumbersome process. If you know the lawyer who was overseeing the case at the time and if he is still around, you may request him and see if he has details of the case with him.
