Is allotment deed letter require for gift deed?

My grandfather owns a house in old co op society which was build before 1980 so we have all documents like my grandfathers name is in foundation memeber of society which states thqt the specific house is alloted to my grandfather, we have completion certificate, how much land we have that map is also there plus society membership documents but we dont have allotment deed some lawyers are not asking for it some are asking for it so what to do ?
