BHi everyone,
We are group of 5 people who have recently shifted to a new house. Two weeks back before moving, the previous house owner was creating issues related to advance repayment. He pointed out minor damages and quoted very high repair cost such that it covered the advance. After polite back and forth conversations he agreed to repay the advance amount holding back one month’s rent. We were satisfied with that. Yesterday we returned the key. On Asking for advance amount he said he will pay and asked us to share account details. Ever since we shared the account number he is not picking our calls or replying to our messages. We still have one duplicate main door key. According to agreement we are entitled to stay till we recieve the advanced payment. But we are not sure if it is legal to go in the house now. What can we do now ?
