March 14, 2025 at 6:14 pmUpon her father’s instruction, my wife stole away the locker key, which was kept safely with me. The locker consists of jewellery (primarily hers), and it is held under a joint account between my wife and me. Now I have a few questions in my mind:-1. What must have been the intention behind her father’s and daughter’s this action? And whether are they trying to frame me into anything?
2. What are the legal remedies to safeguard myself beforehand ?
3. Can I remove my name from the Joint account and ask the bank to keep the locker only under her name and not mine?

March 14, 2025 at 6:28 pmHow can I keep mine? When the keys are with her ๐Plus I believe that my father in law must have taken the keys with him to his place in Indore.
Only thing is – its fine! Keep your locker keys but now after all this that happened (u stealing instead of telling me that you are keeping the keys), I don’t want to pay the locker maintenance charges so keep your locker key with you and under your account …it’s that simple!

March 14, 2025 at 6:31 pmConfront her. Ask her. Demand your own stuff plus closure of your locker facility. Also no point in downvoting my previous comment.-

March 14, 2025 at 6:42 pmIdk why would anyone downvote ts. Anyway be sure to tell her directly that you’re closing the locker facility altogether and keep communication clean clear although a bit confrontational because her father may have said something that resulted in the actions followed
