March 13, 2025 at 10:34 am*I co own a flat with my brother and mother in a building which is going for redevelopment and everyone has to sign DAPA papers within 2 weeks. he moved in with mother after father’s death and wont leave. (he has his own flats) . he is not letting mother meet anyone and over few years he brainwashed mother to sign her share to him . he manipulated some other lines in the deed at the last moment and did not tell me till date he wd have hidden it if the building didnt go into redevelopment. ( i came to know from the secretary) . now he is asking me to sign DAPA so that he can live there without any problem as i cant visit there due to job.*pls advice IF I SHOULD SIGN THE DAPA OR NOT ? . is it true that if i dont sign the DAPA he wont be getting the possession of the flat (or he may not get the loan /basically he may get in some trouble).
