My local government school (operates till 8th) has a very specific issue. The school head master daily abuses the children openly chasing them around the village with a stick. This has been going on since a year or two.
Today, I stopped and asked the children why are the running instead of studying, this is what I was told:
1) The head master has stopped their mid day meals and even after complaint, he’s not resuming it. He used to abuse the cook as well.
2) He uses preferential treatment to kids, has distributed books to half the students and nothing to the other half. This too happened when children complaint to the local PS. He never distributed full set of books to everyone
3) Daily openly abuses children, boys and girl alike (this I have seen personally).
Is there anything that can be done to stop this? What’s the best course of action? I tried looking for helplines but it says the number permanently out of service. Help me, I don’t wanna see future of 300 children getting ruined everyday.
