Is it a good idea to contact HR here?

Hey all. Recently found out through a friend that a guy (22) who was/is a creep to women around his age is also a pedophile. He sent a dick pic to a minor, and he’s always been this creepy, even when I interacted with him. He’d get mad that I didn’t want to meet up with him despite only knowing him via a friend.

So my friend and other guys plan on mass reporting him to insta to ban his account. But personally i feel that just banning him off insta isn’t going to stop him from doing things, if he can do this to a sixteen year old, he’s going to try with people younger. And that terrifies me.

So is this grounds to contact the HR of the company he works at with proof? Is it worth it? I’m this terrified due to having siblings around the same age as the girl who had experience this sexual assault. I don’t want any creepy jerks messing with my siblings like this.
