March 11, 2025 at 9:34 amDepends on whether you will have to do any alteration to the property. If the property has space for installing the AC without making any alteration then permission wonβt be required, however, if you will have to make alterations, then you need permission. If you do it without his approval, then most likely he will use that as an excuse to not return your security deposit.In any event, you should inform the licensor that you are installing AC on email and get his approval.
