Class action against broomies

Why is there no class action against broomies. This is a common grievance where customers are paying subscription and not getting their money worth or their money back.

You can use the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 if multiple consumers have the same issue and file a collective complaint.

There was a white paper regarding Class Action lawsuits in India, how to be introduced, etc, before the introduction of Companies Act, 2013. Even it was there in the preliminary draft bill. Later on it was removed. One can speculate that it is because of the corporate lobby.

– Representative suit (Order 1 rule 8) of Code of Civil Procedure
– Central Consumer Protection agency initiates class action suit for consumers
