USo, we had a loan with corporation bank and it merged with union a few years ago. We had paid off a part of our loan and then had reduced the emi. Now the new bank (union) didn’t register the amount that was paid off and has been only deducting interest so far that too on the original amount. We asked them ‘how do you think the emi was reduced significantly if we didn’t pay part of the loan’
The branch people are saying that they thought the emi was reduced somehow and they don’t have any details after the merger.
In total, we’ll be paying 1.5-2 lakhs extra for no fault of ours.What can be done in this? The branch manager is not ready to take the written complaint from us.
Please help. This is extremely unfair
