Commitment by a minor?

So about 8 or 10 months ago I took 10K from a business partner and based on his promise to fund 70K more I had invested some of my money as well. Regardless I couldn’t return his 10K because his commitment was for 80K and I had to face a loss as well due to him

Regardless I am a minor so all contracts signed by me are void in India but if I had texted someone a commitment, does that have any legal holdings?
