GDoctors cannot charge bribes to treat poisoning patients. They however have to report the case to the police station, and police do their thing.

UHow sick and greedy that doctor must be to take bribe from someone who has already given up on life and trying to end it by themselves, or from parents who just saw the part of their heart so broken that he/ she didn’t wanna live anymore. USome of these comments … jeez … I hope an actual lawyer steps in and advises. I had read somewhere that it was decriminalized.
Whatever the case, that doctor is horrible and should not be allowed to practice. Please try to get their name and shame them. At least tell us the name of the hospital because this is not acceptable, and if anything, that doctor should be punished legally.
I hope you recover fast OP and get better mentally.

UThis new Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act removes the Section of attempt to commit suicide, however it doesn’t entirely decriminalize the offence of attempting to die by suicide.
Section 226 of the BNS states that whoever attempts to commit suicide with the intent to compel or restrain any public servant from discharging his official duty shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine or with both or with community service. -
Sreport karna padta hai sucide cases accident cases even if the patient survives they don’t arrest unless someone is dead if you survived they’d just do some background check on you and try to find out why you tried it are you threat to yourself and others infuter. depending on that aage ki karewahi hoti hai

Just to say suicide is never a solution for any problem. Just become stronger than the problems you are thrown at. The biggest problem with suicide isn’t even suicide, it’s the idea that there’s an easier solution to the problems, this will keep you stuck in the loop of not doing the hard work on the problems as long as you consider suicide as the solution. ITS NOT. EVER.Hope you won’t do such a step ever again.
As far as Indian scenario goes, the dumbass laws are made such that if the suicide succeeds it becomes illegal (you can’t punish the dead person), and if it fails it becomes illegal. So it adds to the troubles of the troubled. Go figure.
Anyways brother, take control of your life. You have so many people concerned and replying here. You do matter.

JTaking in consideration of a man producing sperm in a year ranges from 360 million to 3.6 billion. Taking an average of ~1B. And a woman produces ~12 eggs in a year. Also taking in consideration ~15 years (15 year to 30 years — you know). So it comes around 1B * 12 * 15 = 180B. To put it plainly, you are 1 in 180B or in other words a miracle.
