March 7, 2025 at 9:47 amI am facing a very frustrating situation where a person has stolen my notebook, written his name on it, and is now using it as his own. When I confronted him and asked him not to do this, he started misbehaving and mentally harassing me by repeatedly asking, “Where is your name written on it?” instead of addressing the fact that he took something that wasnโt his. His attitude is making the situation even more stressful, as he refuses to answer directly and keeps trying to confuse the matter.Whenever I ask him directly, “Did you steal my notebook, yes or no?” he completely avoids the question and keeps repeating, “Where is your name written?” as if that alone proves ownership. His lawyer is also interfering constantly, trying to manipulate the situation and protect him instead of letting me properly present my complaint. It feels like they are deliberately using misleading arguments to escape responsibility, rather than acknowledging the theft.
Now, the police, who should be helping me, seem to be getting influenced by the lawyerโs arguments. Instead of investigating fairly, they are accepting the excuse that the thief’s name is on the notebook, as if that automatically makes it his. I am scared that this kind of reasoning could allow him to steal more of my belongings and falsely claim them as his. The interference from his lawyer is preventing me from getting justice, and I feel helpless in this situation.
Pls help

March 7, 2025 at 10:33 amThat thief hired a lawyer to safeguard himself from the punishment of stealing your notebook & clothes?Which notebook is this that costs 600rs? I didn’t know such a notebook existed.
Idk how police will help bcz it cannot be proved that who stole your notebook & clothes. Additionally, police will not take your case seriously.
