I have read that an Indian citizen cannot keep dual citizenship. So what will happen if someone has dual citizenship? Will their indian citizenship be revoked? Will they face any punishment? What will happen to their properties in India if their citizenship is revoked?

Dual citizenship isn’t allowed. Surremd your Indian passport ASAP.

Transfer of ownership might require intimation to tax authorities, forex department.
