March 6, 2025 at 1:06 pmMy dad passed away last year. He had 2 wives: first wife(A) and his second wife, my mother(B). He has no children from his first wife and has 3 children from his second marriage: me, my sister and my younger brother.
After his passing away, we came to know that A is the one who has been registered to receive his pension after he passes away. However hereโs the catch: while filling the form, my dad got it signed from A however Bโs(my mother) photo is attached to the form.
We filed a petition last year in this context that B(my mother) should receive the pension instead of A. Additionally, there has been a history of A and her brother(my late fatherโs brother-in-law) harassing my mother over small stuff and threatening her to throw out of our house.
My current home, which was built by my dad is built on the land registered on Aโs name. And since we have lost the pension case as of today, there might be a chance that my momโs (Bโs) security might be compromised as well as our forever home might be taken away from us only to be inherited by Aโs brother after she passes away.
What can we do in this case to save the house and our assets..? -
