March 5, 2025 at 9:24 amI have been ordering BBQ grilled chicken from WeFit in Hyderabad, and their menu states “6 pcs, 200g.” However, every time I receive the order, it’s only around 120-135g, which is significantly less than what they advertise. This seems like false advertising and unfair trade practice. I want to escalate this to the consumer forum and make sure they either fix their portions or stop misleading customers.
Has anyone filed a similar complaint before?
What is the best way to approach this? Should I first email them and get a response before filing a consumer complaint?
Any guidance on how to proceed with the consumer forum process would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

March 5, 2025 at 10:32 amYou need to issue a legal notice first. Collate all invoices and the weight proof of items you received . If it is sag 3 or more times and the weigh measures less than ordered amount then keep photographic evidence. Once these are ready then an advocate can send out a legal notice to seller on your behalf. Subsequntly you will need to file a Comsumer Court. -

March 5, 2025 at 10:38 amYou need to file a complaint in the district consumer forum first. To file the complaint you can go online and the complaint is filed online on the website of consumer forum.I would have told you here but the procedure to write down the diking is very difficult m tou could check online or you can also talk to me I’ll guide you through.
You may also required to send a legal notice officially just to make your complaint strong and surely this will go in your favour if you have all the detail la of you orders wrappers photographs and evidences.
