A family that walks its dogs in my neighborhood.

This family always takes their dogs out for a walk at night. Two of them are a street dog and a rottweiler. The rottweiler is always leashed, however occasionally it isn’t. These dogs used to urinate and feces outside my house all the time. It is cleaned by my father every morning. However, a fight broke out between my father and the man about 10 p.m. today. When my father gently asked the man, “Take your dog somewhere else to defecate,” the man said rudely, “What?”. Then that guy and my father got into a furious dispute. The person had a short tempered, so I was not sure how to stop it. The street dog has previously bitten a teenage boy and an elderly man because it was always unleashed.

I’m not sure how to deal with it.

I assume the place in front of your house is public property. In which case, dogs gotta go.

What you can suggest and the dog owner absolutely should do is clean up after their dog.

Paper spray lasts only for 10-15 minutes that too only eye irritation. If you empty full bottle, victim will be fine within 1 hour

You really think he’ll be afraid of paper spray & wouldn’t get back at you? It will only escalate fight the next day. If you spray anyone of them, rottweiler will shred you like paper( even humans go crazy if you paper spray them, u can’t imagine what a animal would do ) & if dog get hurt, even tho on paper law aren’t strong yet, the activist will make sure u get at least 3 months in jail. trust me it’ll not be in your favor.

Police is only sensible option.

& yeah, Paper spraying is also consider crime if you spray someone who wasn’t attacking you

Keep red water in a transparent bottle. I’ve heard it stops dogs from shitting there

Easiest solution, put a lot of vinegar, spray it all around the front of your house. Be generous with it.
Unlikely that they will end up defecating or peeing there. Continue the treatment with vinegar for 10/15 days.

I think in foreign countries there is a rule to clean and pick up poop when ur pet does in public place.

As there is no civic sense in most indians

There should be a lawregarding how to manage ur pets people openly take their dogs and let them poop in others front yard.

A law should be there making them accountable and fine them.

I once read in school a indian man landed on japanese airport and spit on the tarmac tha Japanese man cleaned it behind him with his cloth.

Next time pick up the poop and smear it all over the dog owner’s house. Ensure you wear gloves and masks while doing it.
