March 2, 2025 at 7:41 pmI was in the McDonald’s drive-thru, having placed my order and pulled forward as usual. A Jeep Cherokee was still at the speaker, placing an order. I drive a 2008 Altima. Once the cars ahead of me moved forward, she finally pulled up but immediately started honking her horn. Assuming she was urging me to move up, I inched forward as much as possible. Then, without warning, she deliberately rammed her 2015 Jeep Cherokee into my car, pushing it forward. She then reversed and hit my car a second time.
My vehicle is already in poor condition—I’ve been waiting on my tax refund to make necessary repairs. The front end needs replacing, the motor mounts are gone, and the shocks are broken. It drives like a horse and buggy. I haven’t been working because I’ve been caring for my mother, who was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer the day before this incident.
After hitting my car twice, the woman got out and started yelling, claiming she was in line first and that I had cut in front of her. Her front wheel was practically on top of my car, and I was shocked that there was no visible damage, despite the impact being loud enough for everyone inside McDonald’s to hear. Several bystanders came outside in response to the commotion.
I called 911, but I refused to engage with her because I was in complete shock that someone would act so aggressively over something as trivial as a drive-thru order. When the officer finally arrived, he dismissed the incident, stating that at most, my car had some dirt knocked off. He then proceeded to speak with the other driver and her companions, who were laughing and seemed to know the officer personally.
However, prior to that, the officer had reviewed the surveillance footage and acknowledged that she had hit my car twice. Her husband then got out of the Jeep, appearing aggressive, but ultimately turned away as both of them continued to shout profanities at me. While speaking with the officer, the woman even swung her car door open, hitting my vehicle loudly, yet the officer acted as if he hadn’t noticed.
As I drove home, it became apparent that the impact had severely worsened my car’s condition. The front end was completely misaligned, making it nearly impossible to keep the vehicle straight—it felt as though I was driving under the influence, despite being sober. While there were no visible dents, the video footage clearly shows my car being physically moved by her Jeep.
Her behavior was entirely unnecessary and completely unacceptable—especially over something as insignificant as a Happy Meal. Instead of waiting her turn, she chose to escalate the situation by intentionally ramming my car, not once, but twice, before verbally attacking me.
I had only gone out to grab food for my kids before retreating to my room to process everything. Instead, I ended up breaking down in tears. I have always treated people with kindness, and I could never imagine doing something like this to another person.

March 2, 2025 at 9:10 pmWhat should I have done? I don’t understand. This happened last Saturday and I’m still wondering what is wrong with her. I know I called 911 but it’s because of the force of her ramming her Jeep into my car pushing it out of the way. I might not have said it right in the post idk. But I so wish I had that video to post then y’all would see how crazy she was. I’m just wondering if I should get a lawyer or what. Or is this something to get my car fixed is all sorry.-

March 2, 2025 at 9:05 pmShe has road rage in McDonald’s drive thru over a happy meal. Who does that. She rammed my car with her Jeep. I just don’t think that’s normal behavior so I called the police to get a report. She got out of her car and came at me. Like a crazy person when I was just like what is going on here. I was in a wreck in McDonald’s drive thru. -
