I need advice with a personal situation

I’ll keep it very short, I cut contact with my family two years back. They are very toxic (biological mother – narcissistic and physically/verbally abusive and drug addict biological brother) and because of that my dad committed suicide, I was very scared that I’ll end up like him and for peace of my mind, I cut contact. Biological mother has been trying to contact me thru email, saying that she’ll give a police compliant but I don’t think there’s a valid legal case for it so I ignored all that. Suddenly today, I got a call from her and she is saying the company I work for and I gave the phone to a friend, asking to deflect, biological mother said she got the number from the police but doesn’t make sense.

I’m a 28 year old male, I think I know it cannot make sense to some people as I’m an adult but I’ve been traumatized pretty bad and my panic attacks started coming back. I feel so helpless.

Can any advocate help me how to tackle this situation? I’m so scared that I’ll end up like my dad! 🙁

Here is an update i got over an email today, I received another email from my biological mother mentioning that the commissioner started their work and my passport will be ceased and my name will come on the news and I’ll also be kicked out of the company. Is it even possible? Please help!!

No, they can’t do shit. You are an adult, and there no way can police do anything. Block them and move on.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I did for close to three years but the threat of news or taking my passport or company letting me go is a bit scary. Thanks for your comment, are you a lawyer?

No but my brother is. Police cannot take any action, neither can the company. Its your personal choice if you wanna be a part of their life or not.

That’s what my understanding is as well. But you know when you’re in the midst of a shitty situation, your brain doesn’t look at things objectively. I’m also thinking, what if she gave some weird compliant like I stole something and ran away, knowing how erratic and narcissistic she is.
