March 1, 2025 at 6:35 pmMy boyfriend and I have been thinking of doing a court marriage after being together for 13 years. My boyfriendโs family is not in favor of our marriage because of my disability. We both are from different states and he is currently not in India. As a witness, I have my brother and couple of friends.
I am not sure about the procedures of court marriage. Is it possible to marry in court of a third state i.e., Delhi (we both are not resident of Delhi) or is it required to do the procedures in either of our city of residence?
Is court marriage a good option or is there any other option we can go for? -

March 1, 2025 at 7:14 pm13 years, I’m so happy for you two!
Go to any marriage registrar in Delhi on Monday and book your slot, no problem. Bring a few witness and seal the bond.
You have my blessings -

March 3, 2025 at 9:15 amIf you have an address proof for Delhi, you can approach the Sub Registrar office of that area. The court marriage that you are referring doesn’t occur in the court rather in the sub-registrar office. For specific advice or further clarification contact us [https://g.co/kgs/hmnpu81](https://g.co/kgs/hmnpu81)
