So I graduated in 2024 , nd I made a mistake in rechecking there was a mistake in my mothers name assume her name is xyza but it is mentioned xya , we talked with the principal of our school but he said bohot paperwork hota hai unhone bola cbse regional office jao , avi itne dur se hum office Gaye vnha sidha mana kardiya ki school se hi hoga , I do understand ki system rehta hai , nd it was my fault so who am I to blame r8 ? I will talk with principal once again

But can u guys pls give some advice what to do next , what problem I will face in future, and ur experience if u have faced the same prob .
And if anyone can provide a step to step guide how I can solve this problem pls , I will be forever grateful to u guysss !!!!

I had the same problem, make an affidavit stating that there is a spelling mistake, cost you around 500rs (contact a local lawyer if known, better) apply for passport, make sure on all the other documents like aadhar, and graduation certificate, bank account, your mothers pan card have the correct name, apply for passport, once you get the passport majority of your problem is solved. (I didn’t change my mothers name on 10th cbse marksheet yet, the 10th marksheet is more important but once you get the passport it’s sorted

Actually the spelling mistakes exist in both 10 nd 12th certificate , and thanks for sharing ur experience I didn’t we can apply for a passport with an affidavit

You can but also depend upon the person who checks your document, in your case I will suggest to change the name, specially in 10th CBSE certificate

Update – so the mistake is in all documents like birth certificate to 10 nd 12th certificate, they said ki agr 10 nd 12th mein alag alag hota to prob hoti but agar sare documents mein same hai to u won’t face any prob . And they refused because documents pehle se hi galat hai so they won’t take any action.
Nd I think it also true that no one gonna ask any proof for the name
So teacher said it’s a very rigorous process so adhar card vagera me change karna is easier than these certificates
