February 24, 2025 at 12:54 pmSo my business account got charged with some charges with message “As per court orders, [case number]”.When asked to bank, they gave us the info with a letter which explained : There was some fraud done by someone for which they had deducted the amount from our bank account.
But the thing is, the person who was involved in the fraud should be charged with that amount and not us, why did the court ordered the bank to deduct money from our business account and not the person involved in the fraud, which in this case can be our customer who purchased goods from us.
One thing can be that, there might be some mistake, because the court order had our bank account number with WRONG IFSC code.
If thats not the case, then how should we proceed? We also have the bill and all other details. If we directly tell the customer, he wont send us money and will deny that. Coz maybe even he is not involved in the fraud? Someone who sent him money might be?
Idk what else to write, so will provide other info in comment or dm if someone needs for clarification.
TIA!

February 24, 2025 at 1:21 pmImmediately file a Writ Petition challenging whatever order is passed regarding your account. It is likely that money from a cyber fraud was traced back to your account and hence, the court ordered it to be returned. Or maybe there might be some mix-up with the account number. Either way, if you can account for the money which was there in your account, then it should be alright.-
