My sister had her wedding in Kerala last year and she got scammed by her planner. I donβt want it to happen in my case thats the reason i am seeking out to you for help. Please let me know if there is anything to be added from client side.I am to sign the contract with event planner. The terms and conditions listed are as follows :
1. Before signing the quotation, please check the proposal and verify the event date(s), venue(s), food menu, guest count, any other item mentioned above.
2. The above mentioned rate is exclusive of any additional items or services, if any, that might be added up on or before the event.
3. Please consider this as a budgetary estimate. Any item, service not included above will be charged extra on actual rate incurred.
Payment Terms:
4.Payment can be done either as full in advance or in breakups. If you choose to pay in breakups, 20% of the total estimate should be in advance at the time of agreement, 70% of the total estimate should be paid on the one week before the event and remaining amount on the date of event after the completion of the event. Advance payment received is not refundable. The advance amount paid is valid for only one year.
5. Any fees, charges, payment paid to any kind of Trade Unions, Headload Unions, Taxiworkers Unions will be
borne by the clients.6. GST and any other fees/taxes paid to Government will be charged extra as per the prevailing rates.
7. Any licence fees such as Generator Licence, DJ Licence, Ceremony Licence, Artist Licence etc. paid will be charged extra as per the prevailing rates.8. All Florals used will be artificial unless specified.
9. All equipments/properties provided on rental basis only.
10. Any damage caused to our property/materials by clients or guests will be charged at actual cost from the client.
11. The client should ensure that the event company has all the access to the venue(s) specified for the event(s) minimum 12 hrs before the event, for production and pre-event management works. No negotiation on any price will be entertained by Events in any delay caused by any obstruction that has otherwise happened.
12. Events have all the authority to photograph, videograph the whole event and Client has no objection in storing and using these data by Events for their promotional and business activities. If client has any objections, it should be specified at the time of agreement.
13. The number of guests should be confirmed by the client minimum 48 hrs before the event. The Events will not be
responsible for any shortage, lack in hospitality caused otherwise.14. The photographs/setups shown are either our own creations or similar images found online. Since these are artistic creations, the actual product may differ. The dimensions of the venue may have an impact on the production output.
15. We are not liable for delays happened or damages or loss occured to anyone by factors outside our control
including but not limited to acts of God, Civil or Military action, Acts of the national enemy, War , Riots, Civil
disturbances, Insurrections, Accidents, Explotions, Fires, Earthquakes, Floods, Epidemics, Acts of government, its
agencies or officers or any other legitimate cause beyond our reasonable control.Thank you so much
