What if I set up a company in USA

I’m considering setting up a company in USA through Stripe Atlas.

However, their platform says that they aren’t confident about navigating the legal regulations in India and that Indians should seek local legal counsel first.

My main objective for this is to get access to crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter to launch a mobile game idea.

Can someone please help me understand how to navigate the situation?

Which laws are hindering your access to kickstater like platforms?

Kickstarter, and all other major crowdfunding platforms, allows campaigns to be set up only from certain countries and needs Stripe account for payment processing. India is not in the list of countries that are allowed for crowdfunding platforms, also not for Stripe.

If I register an entity in the US, I’d be eligible to launch a crowdfunding campaign through that entity.
