February 17, 2025 at 12:32 pmWith the increasing use of digital platforms, personal data has become one of the most valuable commodities in todayβs world. However, with this comes a growing concern about the misuse or unauthorized leaking of personal information by companies. In India, data protection laws are still evolving, and many individuals may not know their legal rights or the steps to take when their personal data is compromised.
What legal recourse does a person have if they find out that their personal data has been misused, sold, or leaked by a company without their consent?
