Will a false police complaint affect background verification, if the complaint has been proven to be false? Family member filed a report to ensure damage to reputation and cause problems for job. Please help!

You’re good OP. The complaint has been closed and no FIR has been registered. If they’re good at background checks they’ll ask you about it. For which you can explain. Don’t stress out too much.
