February 12, 2025 at 6:26 pmI have an FIR against me since 2023 but there has been no hearing in the court yet.The FIR was filed on false grounds, I was unconscious on the spot after the accident but ther person with whom I collided, filed an FIR against me, I even have a witness and they have given their statement in the police station as well.
But till now, there has been no update neither from police nor have we received any court notice or have had any hearing till now.
My passport expired a year ago and have applied for reissue of the passport.
Can and Will police reject my passport verification?
What if they do reject, what options do I have?

February 12, 2025 at 6:30 pmI had an ongoing high court case in my name when I got my passport. I personally didn’t face any issues but I don’t know if it’s going to be the same for everyone.-

February 12, 2025 at 8:00 pmIf it is a civil case, then there shouldn’t be any issues, if it is a criminal case, then it it at the discretion of the police officer. You might have to persuade them.If you are convicted, or the case is actively going in the court, and you are at a chance of fleeing, then it will be very difficult.
