Zomato’s new crazy surprise feature

i was wondering if zomato could go ahead with a new feature , where they could actually surprise customers with random dishes , like suppose when you are way to confused what to have , when you want to try something new but you dont know what. If they could drop a feature where customers have to select a random mystery box . eg : worth INR 199 or INR 299 , with options like veg , non veg , vegan etc filters and they could deliver it randomly as a surprise without showing what’s the item in it , even it can work for a surprise as eg : on valentines you want to gift some dessert to your gf but you always send the same brownies, you just have to go through this feature then and an actual surprise will go.

could be good but too much customization might not be taken so well when it comes to dietary restrictions/preferences/picky eating
also some scummy restaurants might use it as a way to get away with delivering not-so-good food quality-wise and/or wacky portion sizes and play the ‘oop, its a mystery box cant complain’ card

totay understanble but what they can do is instead of this , they can simply ask for preferences like veg , non veg , vegan and it should be limited to restaurants with atleast a certain rating like 4.2

oh yeah restaurant credibility matters a lot!
and and if people have like a ‘comfort restaurant’ then some of these mystery deliveries could be customized to be from a specific restaurant (or even cuisine) only

Or just a feature to roll a dice from previous orders.

Like roll a dice > like the dish > add to cart. Keep on rolling dice till you like what you see.
